Finding Clarity, Balance, and Connection When Life Feels Heavy

When anxiety, low mood, or communication breakdowns take over, even simple daily interactions can feel exhausting.

You might find yourself caught in endless loops of worry, feeling stuck under a cloud of persistent sadness, or trapped in the same recurring arguments with your partner. Whether you are struggling with overwhelm on your own or navigating tension in your relationship, you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

At Serenity Wellness and Counseling Center, I provide in-person and virtual therapy in Cypress, Texas, for adults and couples who are ready to break free from reactive cycles, manage anxiety and depression, and build healthier, more meaningful connections.

Who I Help

I work primarily with adults and couples who are navigating:

  • Anxiety & Overwhelm: Persistent worry, panic, overthinking, social anxiety, and feeling constantly on edge.
  • Depression & Low Mood: Feelings of sadness, burnout, low motivation, emptiness, or feeling disconnected from the things you used to enjoy.
  • Relational Conflict & Communication: Frequent disagreements, feeling unheard, or feeling like you and your partner are speaking different languages.
  • Unhelpful Relational Patterns: Repeating cycles of distance, resentment, or difficulty establishing healthy boundaries.
  • Life Transitions & Purpose: Stress, identity changes, and finding meaning during major life shifts.

What It Feels Like to Work With Me

Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and focused on real-world application. I aim to build a steady, supportive space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment—whether you are processing painful emotions or learning to navigate anxious thoughts.

While I bring warmth and validation to every session, we will also roll up our sleeves and get to work. We will clearly define what you want to change, track your growth, and discover the practical tools you need to reduce emotional distress and thrive in your daily life. You can expect a balance of reflective space to explore your thoughts and focused direction to help you reach your goals.

My Approach to Therapy

I view wellness through a whole-person lens, understanding that your thoughts, emotional experiences, physical stress responses, and relationships are all deeply connected. My primary framework integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with interpersonal, experiential, and existential perspectives:

  • Understanding Thought & Action Patterns (CBT): We will look closely at how daily thought patterns drive anxiety, low mood, and reactive behaviors—helping you disrupt negative loops and build practical coping strategies.
  • Strengthening Interpersonal Dynamics: We will examine how anxiety or low mood impacts your relationships, practice effective communication skills, and build healthy boundaries that support emotional well-being.
  • Processing Lived Experiences: We will make space to explore how present feelings show up in real-time, helping you process difficult emotions and tune into your needs with clarity.
  • Exploring Meaning & Purpose: Beyond managing symptoms, we’ll look at the core values driving your life, helping you reconnect with hope and build a future aligned with what matters most to you.

Education and Professional Supervision

I am currently completing my advanced clinical training as a psychology practicum student, bringing up-to-date, evidence-based practices for anxiety, depression, and relational health to every client.

To ensure the highest standard of ethical and individualized care, I receive formal clinical supervision under Nicole Bankhead, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Working with a practicum clinician means your care is backed by collaborative professional oversight and a high level of clinical focus.

Take the Next Step

Reaching out for support takes courage, but you don’t have to carry anxiety, depression, or relationship stress alone. I am currently accepting new clients for in-person and virtual therapy sessions in Cypress, Texas, with convenient weekend and afternoon availability.
